Hereford-based I A Technology is working on what they claim will be the world’s first fully accurate voice recognition phone.
Known as the Zumba, details of this top secret mobile phone are sketchy. However, we are led to believe that this piece of future communication technology will change the way in which people interact.
There is no data such as personal contacts or address book stored on the phone, so if it is ever lost, you don’t have to worry about private information slipping into the wrong hands. The Zumba is a dumb terminal that will behave as a “cloud phone”.
Once the unit is activated, it will connect with an online service, a central website where all of the contact information is held. The mobile phone will offer voice to voice conversation as well as text to voice through the voice recognition software.
Time will tell just how far this interesting project will go, but be sure to check out the video for further details.

Interesting concept. I think people would embrace it if it’s released in the near future. But couldn’t they come up with a better name? Zumba sounds like an African animal’s name
