Yuruppy – Virtual Pets For Kids

Yuruppy is the next generation virtual pet game for kids.

This fun kids gadget builds upon the Bandai Tamagotchi toy by adding a “pet” function through the interactive touch screen. In terms of animal selections, you’ll have your choice between adopting a puppy, kitten or the always popular chicken.

I’m not sure why this toy maker selected chicken as a pet worth adopting, you would think kids would prefer hamsters or other small furry animals. In any regards, they probably had their reasons and will likely make this the best chicken worth adopting.

The Yuruppy is scheduled for a June launch in Japan for $21 and a deluxe version of the game will be following shortly thereafter. The deluxe version is expected to retail for $38.
