CES 2010 not only brought us the new gadgets and gizmos that we can expect to hit retail outlets in the coming months, but this year, the trade show was the venue where Panasonic debuted the world’s largest 3D plasma display.
Just how large was the new Panasonic display? Try a 152-inch diagonal screen size. To put its size into perspective, that would be over 6-feet tall and more then 11-feet wide, roughly the equivalent of nine 50-inch television sets lined up side by side.
The 152-inch Panasonic Full HD 3D TV comes with 4,096 x 2,160 pixel resolution (or the equivalent of 8 million pixels) and a 17:9 aspect ratio.
There’s no word on just how much this new screen would cost, but outside of the ultra rich, you’ll probably see these screens surface in movie theaters and other commercial settings.
