Research In Motion (RIM) has unveiled their latest Blackberry accessory, the wireless Blackberry Presenter. The device is geared towards the mobile workforce that require tools to “deliver presentations successfully”.
The Blackberry Presenter which has an effective range of 30-feet, connects through a bluetooth connection with a BB smartphone to present Adobe PDF, Microsoft Powerpoint as well as other image files. The portable unit is both slim, measuring 3.4 x 2.4 x 0.9-inches and lightweight, weighing about 0.14 kg. The Presenter is not a standalone small projector, working in tandem with a video output device and requires either a VGA cable or S-Video cable.
The Presenter will retail through ShopBlackBerry and other approved vendors for $199, although the exact release date has not been announced.
