Wardriving is defined as the process of driving around in a vehicle in search of a wireless signal. To find these WiFi networks, you usually need a portable device such as a smartphone, notebook or a PDA that can recognize the networks.

The clever folks over at Instructables have created a bumper sticker that aids in the search of these WiFi access points. Their do it yourself project requires that you have access to some basic starting material including a WiFi detecting novelty t-shirt, 12v to 5v USB car adapter and double-sided fabric tape.

The end result of the DIY project will be bumper sticker that will alert the geeks in the car behind you of any active signals. Of course, to be truly useful to the passengers within your vehicle, you’ll need to reverse the decal so that it faces inwards.
