Wacom Bamboo Touch

The hype about multi-touch may have died down, but that’s not stemming the emergence of new multi-touch navigating devices in the peripheral market today. Wacom’s new Bamboo Touch is the tablet peripheral maker’s latest offering, which combines the innovation of multi-touch with the company’s trademark (large) tablet area.

The Bamboo Touch is actually the smallest and most cost-effective offering in the entire Bamboo line – if 5.4 x 8.2 inches is too small for you, Wacom always has bigger alternatives. The Bamboo Touch has most of the gestures you’ll need for a satisfying computing experience – click, right click, double click, forward and back, scroll, rotate, zoom, select and drag, and navigate.

In addition, the Bamboo Touch comes with four physical buttons for clicking, programming, or launching macros. The touch area is much larger than those that come bundled with most notebook PC’s these days, and if you can spare $69 and a USB plug, will let you enjoy full multi-touch usability anytime, anywhere.
