Space is the new frontier and everyone is trying to get a piece of it, including the porn industry. It was reported that Virgin Galactic, a division of the Richard Branson’s Virgin Group, recently rejected a large sum of money for a sex in space movie. Will Whitehorn, president of Virgin Galactic didn’t disclose which was the porn studio that made the offer but did say that it was for “$1 million, up front, for a sex-in-space movie. That was money we had to refuse, I’m afraid.”
Virgin Galactic is expected to begin flights of the two White Knight aircraft in late 2009 or early 2010. Cost to come aboard these flights will be $200,000 USD for a two hour flight and Virgin Galactic already has $40 million in deposits from 280 customers.
