Viewsonic Mini Pico Projector

Viewsonic has unveiled their portable projector, model PJD2121. With a weight of 2.16 pounds and measurements of 8.1-inches x 4.7-inches x 2.6-inches, Viewsonic has developed their smallest DLP projector to date.

Although small in size, the device is capable of delivering 400 lumens and 800×600 SVGA resolution. The 2121 also makes use of Texas Instruments BrillantColor technology and supports a contrast ratio of 1,800:1, allowing the unit to work in most lighting conditions.

The projectors small design and ability to display images 60-inches in size from a distance of just four feet is certainly a benefit for office meetings held in tight quarters.

Some of the other features of the 2121 include “Off To Go” for quick power downs as well as a bottom load lamp and filter-less design for low cost maintenance. The PJD2121 pico projector retails for $449.

It will be really useful for schools and offices where it is often used in small offices or classrooms. The price still seems to be a matter of concern but as it is low maintenance equipment people should buy it.
