We prefer the capture and release method for rodent control, but for those that use alternative means of rodent control and are a bit squeamish about having to deal with a live mouse stuck on sticky paper, or having to deal with the cleanup of a mouse caught in a standard snap trap, the Victor Multi-Kill offers an alternative.
This device contains a ramp by which mice enter a chamber. Once within the unit, the Multi-Kill will recognize the presence of a mouse and shock it. Within 3 seconds, the dead mouse will drop within a collection chamber. The whole process is known as shock and drop. Take a look at the youtube video for more detail.
