The latest high-end full HD camcorder announcement from Victor JVC is the Everio GZ-HM400. With an August 8th release date, the new device features a 2.8-inch flip-out LCD screen, a sharp 10.2-megapixel sensor for high resolution pictures, 32GB internal memory, a 10x Konica-Minolta optical zoom lens, a SD/SDHC memory card slot and K2 technology for high quality audio.
The HM400 also supports 600FPS slow motion video as well as iTunes and YouTube upload support for Windows users. MAC users have similar functionality available to them through Final Cut and iMovie.
The initial release of the new camcorder will be limited to Japan with an MSRP of $1,156 but as with most JVC products, it should make it’s way to the US.
