We’re obviously getting closer to the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Tab, a Google Android tablet, as we are seeing this device make a number of headlines. First, it was spotted in Sydney, Australia, which was then followed very quickly by a confirmation from Samsung that the device would launch on September 2nd.
Yesterday, it was identified that the Samsung tablet would have a CDMA radio, implying that it should be available through either Verizon or Sprint. Now it seems that a Verizon launch is even more possible as BGR has obtained a leaked picture of the Verizon inventory system which essentially just confirms this news. The Samsung Galaxy Tab is an interesting Android tablet that does hold a lot of promise and one that many industry insiders believe will fair well against the Apple iPad.
