Verizon Offers Motorola Devour Android Powered Smartphone

The Motorola Devour is officially coming to the Verizon Wireless 3G data network next month. This will be Verizon’s first mobile phone to feature the Motoblur user interface.

Some of the key features of the Devour include a 3.1-inch touchscreen display, access to a variety of Google applications and products such as Gmail, Google Maps with Google Maps Navigation, Google Talk, Google Search and many others. Additionally, the Android smartphone comes with a 3MP digital camera, a slide out full QWERTY keyboard, 8GB microSD card as well as wireless connectivity through WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth technology.

Verizon wireless will offer their subscribers a couple of service plans including a $39.99/month Nationwide Talk plan and a $59.99 Nationwide Talk & Text plan. A $29.99 data package will also be required which will include unlimited monthly access.

Pricing hasn’t been officially announced, but it’s believed the phone will be under $200 and a voice/data service plan for $70 (minimum) will be required.
