Verizon BlackBerry 9650 With OS6 Spotted

If you happen to have Research In Motion’s BlackBerry Bold 9650, you may be wondering when you can expect the smartphone to be updated with OS6. Currently, the mobile carrier Verizon hasn’t made any official announcement as to when to expect this upgrade, but it seems that a BB 9650 has been spotted that is running OS 6.0.0.80.

According to the reports, performance seems to be an issue with sluggishness being reported. This is just one report, but this is not something that one would want to see with their smartphone and may be why we haven’t seen OS6 rolled out earlier on the 9650. If this isn’t an isolated incident, we suspect that RIM and Verizon have probably got their thinking caps on to see if they can find a solution to this problem before they roll it out en masse.

i am new to blackberry, currently hava a razor. will be traveling to england, greece, egypt and india for two months. which blackberry is the best for me the bold or the storm? right now we have verizon service,, is there another service provider that would be better for the countries we are going to? don’t tell me to get a phone overseas, i need a consistent phone number so can’t buy sim cards and get a new number with each country. thought about using call forwarding from my usa phone to a simcard phone bought oversead, but i don’t trust that- or should i? would enjoy hearing anyone’s opinions. thanks
