In it’s most basic sense, a USB drive serves one function and that is to move data from one location to another. Building upon this most basic of functionality, designers have incorporated sleek designs giving USB drives personality and flare.
No longer do you need to follow the herd mentality, now a USB drive can be as unique as you are .
One of the things that always impresses me is how designers make use of space. Minimalistic designs are great, but at the other end of the spectrum, I also like to see designs that don’t waste real estate.
TrekStor has taken the latter approach with their USB thumb drive. This USB drive comes in a variety of sizes and can hold data up to 16 gig and also has a nice sleek metallic finish. What’s unique about the drive is the bottle opener on the non data side. Storing the drive on your keychain ensures you are never without your data and your bottle opener. After all, what could be better then a nice cold brew once you finish moving your data.
Who knew data migration was such a tough job?
