This is a classic retro wireless microphone. Certainly more bulky then the thin is in microphones we see nowadays, but if you have the desk space, this microphone is a nice addition for your pc. The microphone brings back memories of a time that has past, when TV anchors used to have a microphone similar to one of these on their desk while they were broadcasting, or if you are a bit older, you may remember when radio DJ’s used to have something similar as well.
If you’re a Windows XP/Vista user, you’ll like the fact that this microphone is completely plug and play, no additional drivers need to be installed. All you have to do is plug the USB receiver cable into a spare usb port and you’re off to the races.
Using RF technology, this microphone has a range of 3 meters from the receiver, which is ample if you’re one of those people that like to stretch or walk around the room while chatting.
