When you see one mobile carrier outline their plans for a specific model phone or for that matter any device, we often see other carriers quickly rushing out their own press releases advising that they to will be offering the said device.
With Verizon’s plans regarding the Samsung Galaxy S III now having been made public, it was only a matter of time before we saw other US mobile carriers outlining their plans as well. Today, we see that US Cellular has outlined their own plans for Samsung’s next generation mobile phone and based upon the information available, customers looking to purchase one of these devices through US Cellular will be able to place their own pre-order next Tuesday on June 12th.
Once the pre-orders are out of the way, customers will have to wait until some time next month before the devices become available both through retail outlets as well as online. For whatever reason, US Cellular has elected to keep the official July launch date a bit quiet at this time, but it may be that in an effort to get the announcement out quickly, some details still need to be worked out. In any event, we do know that US Cellular is looking to launch both models of the Samsung Galaxy S III, meaning users will have a choice between the Pebble Blue and the Marble White models.
