Free game trials are a great way for people to decide if they like a video game enough to spend money on it. Most free trials are 10 or 14 days with really generous ones offering a 30 day trial period as game designers would like to convert you into a paying customer.
Mythic has come out with a pretty good deal. Their MMO Warhammer Online includes an unlimited free trial that never expires. You can now take as long as you want to decide if this is the right game for you..
Of course there are some limitations with this free offer such capping your character at level 10. To get by the low level quest missions, you will need to pay the subscription fee. Even with this restriction, there is still plenty that online gamers can do such as try the first 10 levels with each of the 24 character classes. You can even take your time exploring Nordland, Norsca and the first tier of the dungeon Hunter’s Vale, knowing that there is no looming time limit.
Along with this announcement, Mystic has released a new streaming client that is said to speed up game play by having scenarios load in while you play.
