Remember when mom would take a bottle of Pledge wood cleaner and wipe down all table surfaces because she was hosting a dinner party for friends and family that night. The house looked sparkling clean. The Dusty Table is a piece of unique wood furniture that Mom would have a tough time cleaning.
The Dusty Table is the creation of table designer Jason Miller.
“In the spirit of thrift shops and new vintage, Miller’s Dusty Table reflects very little but subtle inevitability. With a layer of what looks to be dust embedded in the finish, its unpolishable nature suggests perfection despite its apparent lack of shine.”
You can buy this unique table for $1950 or obtain the same look by not dusting for a few weeks. For all the guys out there that hate household chores and don’t have a house cleaning service, I think you’ve found your out. The next time the house needs dusting, skip it and instead throw a price tag on your furniture, and call it modern room decor.
If you’re feeling really courageous and aren’t worried about your other half throwing you out, you can try and expand this principal to include the dirty dishes in the sink and the pile of laundry on the floor.
It’s all in the name of modern design right?

Why would anyone want this? I’ll applaud the originality. But for $1,950? I bit pricey for a gimmick.

I agree, I couldn’t justify buying this table either.
However, EBAY proves that just about anything sells somewhere in the world and this may be one of these niche products that appeal to some.
