I used to own one of those small mice that you wear around your fingers. It detects movement using a small ball bearing to move the cursor. You have to click a 'Freeze' button to stop the cursor from moving before you can click on an icon. It is a real chore to use! Completely unusable to me.

From an engineering point, this Z-Nano actually makes more sense to me since it rests on a flat surface when you click. It is also a great idea to move the Right click to the back. This allows those with big fingers to use it as well. It is like switching ON and OFF the wall switch. I prefer this configuration to those with a normal size Left button but an extremely small Right button on the side.

And if I need only ONE finger to use this thing, it also means that I can effectively alternate between my eight fingers (except the thumb of course) as it should work equally well with both left and right hands.

I looked at the specs. it is actually a LASER mouse (1600 dpi) with user selectable sensitivity, and flash memory to store the selection. Hmmmm.. Maybe I can even use it for my gaming ;-)... but I guess it may be a little too small for that!

But for regular business traveller like me, I dont mind trying one out!

Hi Norhafidz

You're right, being known as the "World's Something" doesn't always make it the best.

I do know someone who's hands are nearly non-functional and for him to use a computer, he has an unusually small keyboard, one that I know I wouldn't feel comfortable with.

I've actually left him a message to get his thoughts on this mouse as one of the groups that this mouse is geared towards is those with mobility issues.

I may not use that mouse for my daily use. It may be the smallest optical mouse but it looks uncomfortable.
