When it comes to night lights, the undersea volcano lava light is quite a nifty gadget that I think any toddler would be proud to use as their night light. Although there are lots of Barney and Mickey Mouse night lights, we’ve certainly come a long way with the lava lights doubling as night lights.

There’s something really mesmerizing about lava lights with the way the material churns within the liquid medium. With the Volcano Lava Light, a cone is in the center of the light from which “lava” spews. What would make this even more interesting would be sound effects.

This would make a nice gift either for a birthday, Christmas, or any special occasion.
