With the Vostro 1220 notebook announcement, Dell has come out with an ultra portable notebook that is lightweight, has a long lasting battery and offers data security, a must for small businesses and the likes.
The lightweight notebook weighs only 3.36 lbs, yet is full featured. It comes with a 12.1 inch screen, 2.2 GHz Intel Celeron processor, 320GB hard drive (or optional solid state drive), 4GB ram and Windows Vista Home Basic.
Additional features of the new laptop include:
- 802.11 draft-n wireless connectivity
- free video conferencing using the integrated webcam, microphone and Dell software provided
- 9 hour battery life
- 3 in 1 media reader and 3 USB ports
The Dell Vostro 1220 notebook includes a 30 day guarantee, 1 year limited warranty and has an MSRP of $799. The notebook will be available in either Obsidian Black or Cherry Red.
