Twitter’s New President Of Revenue Is

The social networking site Twitter is looking to add some new talent to its executive lineup and has confirmed Adam Bain as their latest hire. Bain comes over from the Fox Audience Network where his job duties saw him responsible for overseeing the successful monetization of the companies web properties like IGN, MySpace as well as other websites that belonged to the News Corp family. Bain’s new role at Twitter will as the President of Revenue and he will report into Dick Costolo, Twitter’s Chief Operating Officer.

Bain leaves the Fox Audience Network with a very successful track record, having taken the company’s self service advertisement business to a level where it was generating hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue for the company on an annual basis. The microblogging site Twitter already has a handful of advertising programs that are in place, but these are still in their infancy. Bain will have a new challenge to develop these programs and grow Twitter’s monetization strategy.
