If you’re a Twitter user that just loves to send out those 140 character tweets regardless of where you are, you now have a dedicated Twitter gadget called TwitterPeek to meet your needs.
The handheld device has just a single purpose and that is to publish content on the Twitter network. The device is a handy alternative for those that don’t have access to a smartphone.
Featuring a full QWERTY keyboard, a color display and a clickable scroll wheel, TwitterPeek will make use of the existing cellular networks to access Twitter. The unit will retail for $99 which will include 6 months of access after which you will pay a $7.95 monthly fee or if you’re a hardcore user, you may want to go with the $199 package that includes lifetime access.
There are a few limitations to TwitterPeek that do need to be mentioned and these include the lack of an internet browser so if you come across a Tweet to some late breaking news, you will not be able to follow the link to the news story. There is also no digital camera so that you can take and upload personal pictures but hopefully with later revisions of this gadget, these features will be added.
