Troll Touch

Even with their 27-inch display screens and sleek aluminum casings, the new Apple iMacs have one feature that is notably absent, especially when compared to the new hardware coming out with Microsoft Windows 7. That feature is touchscreen interactivity.

Oddly named Troll Touch has seen this void and has filled it by releasing a series of analog resistive touch kits that have been especially designed for the Macbooks and the 21.5-inch and 27-inch iMac.

The kits retail for $1099 by themselves or $2299 will get you a new iMac with the kit preinstalled. These aren’t cheap prices, but until Apple decides to add touchscreen technology to their product lines, this may be the only way for now to flick through Snow Leopard using your finger.
