Toshiba is one of the more consistent players in the notebook market and has recently unveiled their latest offering – the Qosmio X500 series. It’s a sleek, high-end notebook PC that’s geared towards power users, such as digital content creators and hardcore gamers. From the spec sheet alone, it’s pretty clear it’s going to be a strong contender among other Windows 7-bundled laptops.
Windows 7 is set to be released in just under three weeks, so the Qosmio notebooks are expected to launch at around the same time. It comes in a sleek, omega-black-and-red-chrome chassis that’s bound to turn heads wherever it goes.
What’s bundled inside is equally impressive – it’s powered by an Intel Core i7 processor, DDR3 system memory, dual hard drives and NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250M graphics card (w/ 1GB GDDR5 video memory). It’s enough to make any gamer drool, with frame rates and high-definition audio and video to get fragged for.
It’ll only come out with Windows 7, so October 22 is the pegged release date. It’s not going to be cheap, but with the power it packs, it’s likely to be worth every single penny.
