Toshiba just launched the Satellite P500 notebook. The new laptop features an 18.4-inch, 1920 x 1080p large screen display, ideal for HD gaming, watching movies and multitasking amongst multiple software applications.

The laptop includes a Blu-ray optical drive that is capable of full HD quality video, and supports a variety of media formats including BD-ROM, BD-R, BD-RE and DVD SuperMulti DL+/RW. Another nice feature is the HDMI REGZA link that allows you to use your remote control for video playback.

In terms of other PC hardware specifications, the P500 comes with an Intel Core 2 Duo CPU, 4GB RAM, a 500GB hard drive, nVidia GeForce GT 230M graphics processor, HDMI output, TV tuner card and 802.11a/b/g/n WiFi connectivity.
