
Earlier today, another Android tablet broke cover at the IFA tradeshow. This time, it was the Toshiba Folio 100, an Android device that comes with a 10.1-inch display screen that supports 1024×600 pixel resolution.
Under the hood, the Toshiba tablet features an NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual core chipset and has 16GB of storage space as well as a 1.3MP digital camera. The tablet which has an overall weight of 1.7 pounds and dimensions of 11.1″ X 7.1″ X 0.6″ includes WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth and 3G network support. There is also an HDMI output port, 2 integrated speakers, a USB data port, an SD card reader and a battery that has been rated for 7 hours of uptime.
For software, the tablet comes with Opera Mobile as the default browser and includes support for Adobe Flash. It will also come with a couple of preinstalled readers for electronic books, PDF files and RSS feeds.
