TomTom, known for their GPS devices and digital street maps has announced that the TomTom XL 335S is now available in both the US and in Canada. Retailing at $239.95, the device is geared more towards the low to mid range market.
The new model comes with a 4.3-inch touchscreen display, text to speech translation and Advanced Lane Guidance which displays visual directions as well as exit ramps and highway interchanges.
The XL 335S also comes with IQ routes technology which determines the fastest travel routes based upon speed measurements. The unit also includes a database of 7 million points of interest (POI), spoken street names and the Fold and Go EasyPort mount.
Release date for this device is still pending.
