Tokyoflash Traffic Watch Uses A Road Map Design For Telling Time

Tokyoflash, makers of unusual watches and timepieces whose past creations have included the Galaxy Watch and Fire are back again with the Traffic Watch.

Like most of Tokyoflash’s watch collection, Traffic Watch will not be easy to read by most that are around you unless they are in the know. In order to track time, this watch makes use of three distinct map routes. The hour at hand is tracked along the blue route, while the minute hand is represented by the dotted subway line that is broken up into 5 minute intervals. Each individual minute (1-4) can be seen on the green line which the watchmaker describes as the “highway out of town”.

If you want to get really geeky, the watch also includes an optional night animation mode that can be enabled between the hours of 6pm and midnight. The Tokyoflash Traffic Watch runs on a rechargeable battery that is compatible with USB charging and can sustain up to 300 individual charges before needing to be replaced. The watch sells for $169.
