Mind you, this probably won’t be for everyone, but if you were single and living in a single room bachelor suite, this might be a nice option as you get your own plot of land.
Discovery Architectural Antiques sells tiny homes, and I mean tiny. These homes are as small as 8′x16′ and can be as “palatial” as 12′ x 20′. The units are made from 95% recycled material which makes them environmentally friendly as well. It is the wiring, plumbing and insulation that is new within these homes. The small size of the homes ensures that when you move, you can also move the home with you. Prices for these homes are between $32,000-$55,000, depending upon the size of the home you purchase.
