Unless someone is using wireless headphones, the challenge with headphone cables is that they easily tangle and trying to untangle the knots can be a real pain.
Designer Ji Woong has come up with a very cool idea that draws inspiration from a pant zipper and extends it to cable management.
Known as the YI earphones, Woong has taken a simple zipper and attached it to headphone cables. The basic premise is to unzip the zipper to use the earbud headphones and to zip it back up when not in use. Sometimes it takes a simple idea such as this to address a nuisance such as tangled cables. Let’s hope this one makes it past the concept stage.
