According to one study, up to 50% of Londoners are worried about home intruders during the night and have concerns about defending themselves should the need occur. As always, where there is a need, it will be met and this is gadget is just one of the creative ways in which this concern has been addressed.
Designer James McAdam has created a typical looking utilitarian night table that is just big enough to hold some personal items. It’s when an intruder comes that they quickly realize the business end of this table. The top of the Safe Bedside Table can be detached to act as your personal shield while the leg can be wielded as a bat.
The choice is up to you whether you want to bear arms in the face of an intruder, especially when you don’t know if they may have a gun, but at least you have a choice now.
