The Phone Car By Howard Davis

Although highly rewarding, there are many challenges with being self employed, one of the biggest being getting your company and/or product in front of the public.

Consumers are constantly bombarded by advertising and traditional methods of advertising such as tv and print ads, just don’t have the same bang for their buck as they once did. If you want to stand out from the crowd, you need to be unique. With the Phone Car, Howard Davis has certainly managed to be achieve this.

The phone car is a modified 1975 Volkswagen Beetle that he has modified into the shape of a phone. The reason for this is of course to advertise his telephone company Datel Communications. By taking time off to drive this vehicle around town, he has certainly brought smiles on peoples faces which in turn has helped to make his brand a recognizable name.

What’s cool about the phone car is when you honk the horn, it isn’t an ordinary horn, but rather the horn sounds like a rotary phone ringing.
