Apple has come out with their new iPod shuffle. At only 1.8″ tall x 0.3″ thin, or about the size of a AA battery, the new shuffle is considered to be the world’s smallest mp3 player.
This portable music player has had a number of modifications including the movement of the controls from the iPhone shuffle to the earbud cord. Not only did this allow for the miniaturization but it makes the shuffle just that much more friendly as the controls are in a more convenient location.
The iPod shuffle which has a durable, anodized aluminum case, features 4GB of storage (capacity of 1000 songs), supports multiple playlists and includes a new feature known as VoiceOver.
When activated, VoiceOver will turn down the music and has the ability to tell you the name of the artist and song, the name of the playlist, as well as your battery status. VoiceOver provides multilingual support and can announce the songs in 14 different languages.
