You have to really love your pet gerbil to decide to put him in the Gerbil shirt. This crazy shirt was patented by an inventor and consists of a shirt with plastic tubes wrapped around it. The tubes come with ventilation holes so that fluffy has no problem breathing as he travels around the super highway which is lined with traction pads.
With living animals within the shirt, it will be necessary to clean the it regularly and this can be done by attaching a kitchen faucet to the tube and washing it out. Needless to say, be sure that your beloved pet is no longer in the tube at the time of cleaning or this invention will become the first water slide created for a gerbil. Hey, is there a patent on that?
Richard Gere may get a kick out of this shirt design, but for most, this shirt isn’t going to win friends and influence people. It’s no wonder this idea never caught on.
