The National Geographic Magazine is a icon, just about everyone has heard of it or more then likely, read them either in school or at home. As a publication “Inspiring People to Care About the Planet”, the print version is full of information about nature, human interest stories, discoveries and maps.
What’s really cool is that every edition since 1888 has been digitized and is being offered on a 160GB external hard drive of which 100GB is free hard drive space. They say that the free space on the drive can be used for personal use or perhaps future updates because there really aren’t any foreseeable plans for them to slow down.
The hard drive will set you back $199.95 but along with the digital copy, you’ll also receive a DVD that contains additional scenes about how the publication is made, digital photography tips and interviews with some of the photographers involved with the magazine.
