The Busycle is no tandem bicycle, rather, try a 15 person bike. Pedal power on this bicycle/bus consists of 28 legs actively pedaling and one person engaged as the driver.
The Busycle was the design of Heather Clark and Matthew Mazzotta and was created from a $1000 grant from the Berwick Research Institute in Roxbury.
An interesting eco green design that brings “the intersection of art and activism to the street, the Busycle asks the public to participate in a small movement.” Hop on one of these cool bikes with 14 of your closest friends and one thing is for sure, with so many neighbors, good conversation will be all around and you will have sufficient pedal power on your next mountain bike ride.
