Those in the Great White North may not have much longer to wait as the arrival of the Google Android powered Motorola Milestone to Canada is expected to be soon with some saying that it could be as early as the middle of this month, although no official launch date has been announced. Best Buy has already highlighted this mobile phone in their Best Buy Mobile Buyers Guide, stating that it is “coming soon”.
What we do know is that Telus Mobility will be the mobile carrier with pricing set at $199 with a fixed 3 year service contract or $549 if you buy the phone outright. This to is “subject to change”.
As a refresher, in addition to the Android 2.0 OS, the Motorola Milestone comes includes a 3.7-inch interactive touchscreen display, QWERTY keyboard, 5 megapixel digital camera and network access through both WiFi and Bluetooth A2DP technology.
