Which geek can resist a robot? From a young age, kids are exposed to toy robots. Some grow out of them, while for others, their love of robots grows year over year until they become a true geek, loving all types of gadgets and robots.

The Falcon R/C chopper gets a thumbs up in my book. Flying gadgets are fun, but when you add another level of excitement with an on board weapon, you’ve taken it to another level, and that is exactly what the Falcon R/C Chopper has done.

Young kids can have a tough time sleeping on their own, many relying on some kind of a stuffy as a form of comfort and console. You’d have to have one strange kid if when asked what type of stuffy he wants and he asks for the giant plush octopus.
This 36-inch octopus looks pretty lifelike and will set you back $35.99.

Here’s a slingshot that Denise the menace would be proud of. The design project is from the latest “Next Exit” exhibition that featured the industrial department at H.I.T.
The Ringshot, a modified slingshot, comfortably fits between your index finger and thumb. There is no handle to grasp onto like those found on the traditional slingshot. Once in place, pull the elastic back, place your favorite projectile and release.
I wonder if the Ringshot would offer greater accuracy or distance over the traditional slingshot?
