X-Ray Vision Camera Lens

For $199 you can pick up a special x-ray filter lens that attaches to a camcorder to give it x-ray vision capabilities. The theory behind the lens is that clothing that is worn allows for ambient light and infrared light to pass through until it reaches the skin. At that point, it is reflected back. Normally, we see is a combination of this light and infrared light. What the lens does is filter out the regular light so that all that remains is infrared light. It is this process that renders the clothing “virtually invisible” and allows the operator to see through clothing.
