The day for night solar powered dress designed by Despina Papadopoulos at Studio 5050 introduces style with a twist. Custom tailored with 448 white circuit board tiles, each housing an individual solar cell, RGB LED, or photocell and jumper connections. These interact with the black titles that are solar cells used to charge the batteries to power the device.
During the day, the dress charges. At night, that energy is released in the form of a glitzy light display. If you’re interested in attracting attention, the light display and the short hemline will certainly do that.
