Green computing will be the direction of future computing so as to reduce the carbon footprint of workstations. There are a number of creative suggestions that are being brought to the table which are being explored.
Bird feeders are a popular garden item. I think it’s nice that even in our overly urban environments, we can still attract a bit of nature into it. However, when it comes to bird feeders, they seem to be items that are used by birds during day time hours. How cute is it to see the little finches and other critters pecking away. What about those nocturnal birds? They always seem to be forgotten, probably because while they’re awake, we’re sleeping.
Gardening can be an amazing source of relaxation and therapy. Just getting your hands in the dirt can be a euphoric feeling and there is a certain level of pride and accomplishment that one can receive from a well manicured lawn with plants.
Here’s hoping that we see one of the large laptop manufactures get on board and pick this design concept up. The solar powered laptop is a completely autonomous device that is standalone and due to being self-contained, it has no needs for any external connections.
