EyeSeeCam is a head mounted camera system that tracks the pupils of the wearer and relays that electronic visual data to servo actuators which can then be used to control robots, video cameras or any number of other gadgets.
The design belongs to research scientists at the University of Munich Hospital who’s original intentions were to study human cognitive behavior but after the system was developed, they soon realized that it will have a variety of commercial applications which they intend to explore.

When you think of dragons, the fire breathing dragons guarding their treasure hoard is one image that comes to mind.
Puff Dragon however has an altered existence. Rather then breath fire, this small robot puts them out with his breath.

Remember Roomba, the robotic vacuum cleaner sold through iRobot? Everyone loved that design because it simplified the chore of vacuuming? Someone has taken that basic concept and designed iShovel, the automated snow removal robot.
iShovel sits in sleep mode on your paved driveway. Onboard sensors detect outdoor weather conditions and when more then 1″ of snow falls to the ground, iShovel wakes up and goes to work cleaning your driveway.

Robots are everywhere, why not add to the mix with some geeky bathroom decor in the form of a Robot Toothbrush Holders. Like any robot, these toothbrush holders are multi-purpose in that not only can they hold your toothbrush, but they can also be used to hold any other small bathroom gadget you might use.

Maintaining plants is not everyone’s cup of tea. Ensuring plants get enough sunlight and adequate water so as to not drown them can be a challenge for those without a green thumb. We’ve seen a number of gadgets released that simplify the process of watering. These gadgets measure water levels in the soil and either alert the owner that watering is required or if the gadget is attached to a water source, it will self water the plant.

Anna Konda, a nice play on words, is the robotic fire fighting design of the Norwegian research company, the Sintef Group. Weighing in at 75 kilos and at a length of 3 meters, this robot possesses 20 joints providing it with a significant degree of dexterity. With this level of flexibility, the hose is able to traverse into narrow spots in an effort to extinguish flames by shooting water out of it’s anterior end.

Flying robots have come a long way. Go to any park on a sunny Sunday afternoon and you’ll see all kinds of gadgets hovering and flying through the air. All have their own twist on a propulsion system but the flying robot I-Wing uses what is becoming a lost art, namely the flapping of wings.
