Like any robot, these toothbrush holders are multi-purpose in that not only can they hold your toothbrush, but they can also be used to hold any other small bathroom gadget you might use.

Maintaining plants is not everyone’s cup of tea. Ensuring plants get enough sunlight and adequate water so as to not drown them can be a challenge for those without a green thumb. We’ve seen a number of gadgets released that simplify the process of watering. These gadgets measure water levels in the soil and either alert the owner that watering is required or if the gadget is attached to a water source, it will self water the plant.

Anna Konda, a nice play on words, is the robotic fire fighting design of the Norwegian research company, the Sintef Group. Weighing in at 75 kilos and at a length of 3 meters, this robot possesses 20 joints providing it with a significant degree of dexterity. With this level of flexibility, the hose is able to traverse into narrow spots in an effort to extinguish flames by shooting water out of it’s anterior end.

Flying robots have come a long way. Go to any park on a sunny Sunday afternoon and you’ll see all kinds of gadgets hovering and flying through the air. All have their own twist on a propulsion system but the flying robot I-Wing uses what is becoming a lost art, namely the flapping of wings.
