Our little guy, the Star Wars R2D2 droid seems to spend a lot of time around water.

There was the R2D2 Aquarium and the R2D2 toilet paper cover. Today, our little robot friend has come out in the form of a sports water bottle.

It’s amazing just how many gadgets and designs get released for bathroom products. Practically speaking, it’s not like you really need a designer toilet paper holder, but when you’ve got a toothpaste tube that dispenses toilet paper, you’d expect that someone else would try and top this by releasing a novelty gadget in the form of something they hope would appeal to a larger audience.

If R2-D2 was trusted enough by Princess Leia to hold secret rebel messages to be delivered to Obi-Wan Kenobi, you know he’ll do a bang up job as an 3/4 gallon aquarium, keeping your fish safe and sound. For this special Star Wars mission, R2 D2 has been retrofitted with a waterproof sealant so as to keep the fish environment stable.

R2D2 is one busy robot. With so many gadgets and abilities that he posses, who knew that his best trait was also his least known.
This R2D2 mod is known as BeertooD2 and you guessed it, this mod turns R2 into a fine beer keg. When you think about it, this was probably one of the best mods for him, considering his cylindrical shape and his keg sized height.

George Lucas and company have to count their blessing that R2 D2 was a robot rather then a humanoid because this is one of the most popular characters of the Star Wars saga. With his popularity, R2 D2 has lent his name and likeness to everything from bedsheets, figurines, books and every other assorted gadget you could probably think of. Just imagine the royalties that Lucas would have had to handout!

After all these years, Star Wars is still one of those phenomenons that has never lost momentum. In fact, with each passing year, the force known as Star Wars has only grown stronger, from Star Wars cereal toys, Halloween masks, computer games and now these cool usb hubs.
