The Jersey, The MoMa, The Ladies’ Mile, The Chelsea, The Hipster, The Olde Times Sq, The Villager, The Wall Street, The Coffee Cup, with names like this, you’d never expect that they are referring to the names of bike racks, but that is exactly what it is.
Man, art really has a way to make you think, and this is one strange piece of art. I guess this would be perfect for a class of maximum size 17 students, with each student assigned one numeric keypad chair.
What would be even stranger is if these chairs were somehow connected to a laptop so that the weight of someone sitting on a chair would press the key assigned to the chair so that as a collective, calculations could be performed.
