I’ve always been a big fan of the KIS (Keep it simple) theory and Switchflops are just a perfect example of KIS. Switchflops are sandals with velcro covered thongs that can be easily switched in and out with straps of different colors and patterns.
It was a Florida teen by the name of Lindsay Phillips who came up with the bright idea for a project she was undertaking for a high school class. The concept has caught fire and just last year, she launched her product under the slogan of “Change your look, not your sole.”
Currently, Switchflops comes in three styles that range in price from $32-$47 and there are 50 interchangeable straps that retail for $10 each. Switchflops is available at specialty boutiques and of course you can purchase through her website. No longer can a person say I don’t have a single of pair of sandals that matches my attire.
