Super Talent has come out with some of the best flash drives that we’ve seen over the last few months such as the 18-carat solid gold USB drive and the Pico mini USB drives.
Today, Super Talent is again making news, this time with their 32GB Pico drive. Not only does the new drive come with a large storage capacity, sufficient enough to hold your personal data, the Pico drives weigh just 5 grams and lay claim to being the “worlds smallest” 32GB drive. The flash drive also comes with a water resistant body and supports AES-256 encryption.
The 32GB Pico drives without data encryption will sell for $85 later this week while the ones with encryption have a list price of $99.

These drives are exceptionally small and attractive but also highly unreliable. I have 2 4GB pico mini drives and both of them only work on 2 of 4 ports on my machine. If you check the user reviews on the pico drives somewhere like Newegg.com you will see that this is typical for these drives. It’s a shame. They would be so cool if they worked properly!
I was speaking of the newer Super Talent Mini USB drives. They are highly unreliable. After purchasing 2 of them and having problems with them both not being recognized on USB ports and falling apart, I purchased a Pico drive. So far it is working fine.
