If someone told you to place sticky goo on your pc keyboard, you’d probably think that person is out of their mind. After all, what good can placing a sticky substance on your computer do? This is however exactly what a Swiss company is asking you to do.
Cyber Clean (CC) is a biodegradable putty like cleanser that can be used to wipe down keyboards. Because it is rubber like, it can easily get in between keys, extracting dirt and debris. What’s interesting about Cyber Clean is it tells you when it is time to replace it with a new piece. Fresh out of the box, CC is a bright yellow. As it absorbs dirt, it’s color changes from the bright yellow to a green/blue. The packaging contains a color scale and a simple comparison of CC with the color scale with tell you when it is time to replace it.
