Tile is one of the more popular building materials used in home design, typically used in bathrooms, kitchens and in high traffic areas. Bisazza Home has moved tile from the usual to the unusual locations where you would least expect to see it being incorporated.
How about a tile chair, ottoman, or tiled mirrors. These are some of the unique places that designers Carlo Dal Bianco, Piet Hein, Marcel Wanders, Jaime Hayon, Patricia Urquiola, Marco Braga have used tile.
Tiled furniture has some benefits such as being easy to clean, but I do wonder how comfortable it would be to sit on, especially for long periods of time. Unless you’ve covered the chair in cushions, I would think it would be like sitting on a hard bench and if it’s cold in the house, you can expect the tiles to be cold as well.
