Considering the popularity of the video game, it’s no real surprise that Lucas Arts has confirmed a sequel for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. The announcement was made by Samuel L. Jackson at the Video Game Awards 2009 held over the weekend.
Currently the new game is still in development and although it will not be available until late 2010, a cool teaser video has been released to wet your appetite. The trailer features Master Yoda and Darth Vader voice overs as well as beasts much larger then Rancor that Starkiller must battle in an arena setting.
I’m sure Lucas Arts will be hoping the sequel will have the same success as the original SWTFU which sold 1.5 million copies in the first five days after its debut in September 2008.
